Statistical Origin of Pseudo-Hermitian Supersymmetry and Pseudo-Hermitian Fermions
We show that the metric operator for a pseudo-supersymmetric Hamiltonian that has at least one negative real eigenvalue is necessarily indefinite. We introduce pseudoHermitian fermion (phermion) and abnormal phermion algebras and provide a pair of basic realizations of the algebra of N = 2 pseudo-supersymmetric quantum mechanics in which pseudo-supersymmetry is identified with either a boson-ph...
متن کاملComplex Monge-Ampère Operators in Analysis and Pseudo-Hermitian Manifolds∗
The paper is a short survey around the author’s recent works on topics related to complex Monge-Ampère equations and strictly pseudoconvex pseudo-Hermitian manifolds. 1. Invariant differential operators In complex analysis of one variable, the fact that the invariant property for Laplace operator under holomorphic change of coordinates plays an important role. Namely, Let φ : D1 → D2 be a holom...
متن کاملConvergence Properties of Hermitian and Skew Hermitian Splitting Methods
In this paper we consider the solutions of linear systems of saddle point problems. By using the spectrum of a quadratic matrix polynomial, we study the eigenvalues of the iterative matrix of the Hermitian and skew Hermitian splitting method.
متن کاملOn Pseudo-Hermitian Hamiltonians and Their Hermitian Counterparts
In the context of two particularly interesting non-Hermitian models in quantum mechanics we explore the relationship between the original Hamiltonian H and its Hermitian counterpart h, obtained from H by a similarity transformation, as pointed out by Mostafazadeh. In the first model, due to Swanson, h turns out to be just a scaled harmonic oscillator, which explains the form of its spectrum. Ho...
متن کاملPseudo-Hermitian versus Hermitian position-dependent-mass Hamiltonians in a perturbative framework
We formulate a systematic algorithm for constructing a whole class of PT symmetric Hamiltonians which, to lowest order of perturbation theory, have a Hermitian analogue containing a position-dependent mass. The method is applied to the PT -symmetric cubic anharmonic oscillator. A new example is provided by a PT -symmetric extension of the one-parameter trigonometric Pöschl-Teller potential.
